PRIVACY POLICY
1. Introduction
The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform users of the website www.ch-g.fr about the collection, use and protection of their personal data. CH_G is committed to ensuring a high level of protection of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable French law.

3. Data collected
Website visitors. The data that may be collected through the contact form are: name, company where applicable, email address, telephone number, type of engagement sought, stage of the project, location of the property, asset type and the content of the message. These data are provided voluntarily by the user.
Clients. In the course of an engagement, CH_G additionally processes: the client’s identity and contact details, the address and characteristics of the property concerned, the documents provided by the client (drawings, surveys and statutory reports, quotations, invoices, insurance certificates, deeds), photographs taken during site visits, and the data required for invoicing. These data are made available to the client through a password-protected online client area.
4. Purpose of processing
The data collected are used to make contact, to carry out a preliminary assessment of a request for services and to exchange information at the pre-contractual stage, and thereafter, where applicable, to perform the engagement entrusted to CH_G and to maintain its documentary record. No data are used for commercial or marketing purposes.
5. Legal basis
For website visitors: CH_G’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries received, and the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.
For clients: the performance of the engagement contract, together with compliance with CH_G’s legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations and the retention of professional records.
6. Retention period
Enquiries not followed by an engagement are deleted within a maximum of twelve months.
Data relating to an engagement are retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, and thereafter for the period of professional liability attached to that engagement. Accounting records and invoices are retained for ten years, in accordance with legal obligations.
7. Recipients of the data
Data are neither sold, rented nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
They are processed by CH_G and, strictly as necessary for the performance of engagements, by the following providers acting as processors: DotEasy Technology Inc. (website hosting), Google Ireland Limited (email, and storage of engagement documents and photographs), Airtable Inc. (case-tracking database) and Yousign SAS (electronic signature of contracts). These providers are established in the European Union or, failing that, transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses or a recognised adequacy mechanism.
Data may further be disclosed, strictly as necessary: to CH_G’s insurer in the event of a claim, to the consumer ombudsman where a client refers a dispute, and to any authority where required by law.
8. Security
CH_G implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data collected. Access to the client area is protected by a password specific to each case file, and communications with the site are encrypted.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to object to processing and to data portability. You may exercise these rights by writing to contact@ch-g.fr. A response will be provided within a maximum of one month. In the event of a dispute, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
10. Cookies and trackers
The website uses cookies strictly necessary to its technical operation, in particular WordPress session cookies and SEO optimisation cookies (Rank Math). No advertising or commercial tracking cookies are used.
The client area uses a session cookie required for authentication, together with local storage in the user’s browser, used to remember display preferences and to track the documents the user has uploaded. These data remain on the user’s device and are not transmitted to CH_G.
